Customer Feedback:

"...
My hair comes out clean and manageable, not smelling like crap, with minimal impact to the environment...."

"...I have tried several natural shampoos and this one is the best...My hair and scalp are softer and healthier than ever...."

"...My hair seems softer than it did before from top to bottom. That's the good news. The bad news is I still hold my breath every time I'm shampooing (the conditioner doesn't bother me much at all now) and will not buy it again because of the smell...."

"...The shampoo works just fine. It smells nice, it lathers nice, the HUGE bottles go a long way, and I like that it doesn't have as much nasty chemical stuff in it as normal shampoo...."

"...Totally cannot stand the scent of this shampoo & conditioner!..."

"...The smell, which started out pleasant enough, stayed in my hair and eventually made me sick...."

"...After I gave this a try I haven't bought any other hair products from any other brand. This is perfect. It definitely smells good. It's really good at getting rid of any oils after a long day working in the sun or a day or two without washing hair with just one lather...."

"...Love the light smell, not too strong. Lather well & doesn't leave my hair dry...."

--Actual user comments from Drugstore.com User Reviews section

"...This is my current favorite shampoo. It smells wonderfully delicious and it leaves my hair incredibly silky soft...."

"...I've been using it for about 2 yrs and love it...."

Our Final Assessment:

Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo is a fairly well reviewed product, although some customers did not like the scent, and thought it was too perfumey. A few others experienced reactions like itching and flaky scalp, but the majority of users were quite pleased with it. It gets a good safety rating of 2 from the EWG, but it is not 100% natural. Cost is very reasonable, especially for the size of the container. Considering all factors, we gave it an 7.5 overall.
